Common Questions

What can I expect for the ceremony and reception?

You are welcome to arrive around 3:00 PM for the ceremony. Beverages will be available upon arrival. The ceremony will be in the vineyard around 3:30 PM, followed by a reception on property.
The reception is a plated dinner on covered patios. There is ample time to stroll around the property, which boasts an apple orchard, two vineyards, and farm including some animals. Be prepared to spend the evening enjoying the outdoors. Mesa Winds is atop a mesa and may be cool or windy in the evening.

We will be organizing a shuttle. Parking is also available at the event. Do not plan to drive if you plan to enjoy wine!

Where should I stay?

AirBnB or VRBO are your best option, with several charming stays around Hotchkiss and Paonia. A few hotels are also available. We recommend booking in advance as the wedding is during our tourism season! If you are staying in a self-contained vehicle, there are endless public lands for dispersed camping. Let us know if you would like recommendations and we can help you find a great place to stay.

Do I need transportation?

We are so excited for you to experience the North Fork Valley. For those coming from out of town, you will likely want a car to explore all that the area has to offer. There is no public transportation or rideshare (no Uber/Lyft). We will provide a shuttle from downtown Paonia, through Hotchkiss, and back on the night of the wedding.

How can I get to the area?

If you are coming from out of state, we recommend flying into the Montrose Regional Airport. It is about a 1 hour drive to Paonia, and 45 minutes to Hotchkiss, from the airport. Please let us know if you have any questions when planning your travel, we are happy to help!

Things to do?

The possibilities are endless! We would love if you stay a few days on either end of the wedding to explore the area and spend time together.

To enjoy the outdoors, check out Jumbo Mountain, Mt. Lamborn, Kebler Pass, Paonia State Park, and Black Canyon of the Gunnison Natl Park. There are also a number of lakes and rivers to explore. If you want to explore around town, Paonia has the most organic farms per capita in the state. We recommend visiting the local farms and wineries for abundant organic, locally grown food and beverages!

Stay tuned as some group outdoor activities for the weekend will be planned when we get closer to the date! We will send updates to your email provided in the RSVP.

What about gifts?

If you wish, we are grateful for gifts to our "start a family" fund. You can send a gift to our mailing address or via Venmo at @Laurel-Quinto or Zelle at (970) 404-9557.
